Performance Analyst (PPC) - Shanghai Based

Right now, we’re looking for a keen and highly motivated Performance Analyst with excellent problem solving skills, to provide vital support to our team. As well as creating keywords, writing compelling ad texts, working with Google Adwords and Yahoo, while also carrying out data and text analysis, we’ll look to you to identify opportunities in the marketplace and areas for possible account growth. Because of the emphasis on writing and analysis, we’ll ideally be looking for highly developed numeracy skills and the ability to articulate yourself concisely, both verbally and with the written word.

Your roles and responsbiilities:

  • Working with Baidu, 360, Sogou, and Shenma & key stakeholders to plan and manage new client accounts
  • Conducting keyword research and building out keyword lists
  • Writing compelling ad texts and analysing the performance
  • Supporting with daily reporting & budget management
  • Building and updating bespoke client reports
  • Analysing campaign performance and conducting data analysis of our activity vs. the client KPIs
  • Recommending opportunities for campaign optimisation based on meeting clients KPI’s & implement as required
  • Provide updates to internal teams on the active campaigns and help to ensure teams are up-to-date with campaign status
  • Reporting on any trends & insights to key stakeholders, and building client relationships
  • Working with system providers to trouble-shoot any issues that may arise
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc reporting & administrative tasks
  • Working closely with internal departments and external companies

  • Requirements

    • Relevant PPC experience, preferably 1 to 2 years on Baidu
    • Chinese native speaker in either Mandarin and or Cantonese
    • Business English skills for understanding and writing emails and reports
    • Excellent technical/IT skills
    • Highly developed numeracy skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to articulate yourself concisely, both verbally and with the written work
    • Strong desire to learn
    • Can do attitude
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Preferred but not essential
    • Certified in paid search related tests
    • Ability or experience of using 3rd party analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, DS3, Omniture, etc.
    • Strong IT skill
