Account Director APAC


We're looking for an Account Director to join Forward3D’s APAC department to provide strategic and business ownership of a unit of clients at the agency.

Forward3D provide cutting-edge multilingual digital marketing for some of the world’s most prestigious brands including Autodesk, Hilton Hotels and Kering Group. We’re also one of the largest independent digital marketing agencies in the world with 11 offices globally, including 5 offices across the APAC region (Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong & Singapore).

Our APAC division is focused on driving best in class digital performance across search, social, SEO and display advertising, operating on a variety of local platforms from Baidu to Naver and Line to Kakao.

The role requires expertise and knowledge across digital marketing to support Channel and Market teams, management of client strategy and communications, in addition to billing and resource management across a unit of allocated APAC clients. You will sit in London managing the APAC client servicing team, while helping to deliver best is class client engagement and strategy for clients across EMEA and US that are looking to grow in Asia.

The Account Director position reports directly into the APAC Director, and will have interactions with our Head of APAC and wider Client Servicing teams.

The fundamental objectives of the role are to support the agency with:

  • Lead multichannel strategy and planning, and work alongside regional channel teams to implement this
  • Ensure client contractual obligations, service levels and performance are maintained
  • Deliver client billing and resource in line with targets
  • Work with Market Directors to ensure optimal resource across clients
  • Proactively develop market solutions & advanced analysis to new and existing clients
  • Contribute to proposals, provide recommendations on resource requirements for new business and attend pitches
  • Contribute on people skill development

To summarise, Account Director operate at the cutting edge of digital marketing at Forward3D, providing industry leading service and support for the agency’s global and ambitious clients, across a wide range of digital disciplines within the APAC region.



  • Digital marketing experience, preferably from a digital agency and in a client servicing capacity
  • Strong understanding of the APAC digital landscape and knowledge of local platforms
  • Excellent understanding of all digital channels including PPC, SEO, Display and Paid Social
  • Confident client facing attributes.
  • Excel at building relationships, both internally and with clients themselves


  • Experience working across retail or travel clients preferable but not essential
  • Fluent in English. The addition of Korean, Chinese or Japanese language is a benefit
